Doctoral Researchers at MARUM
Doctoral researchers at MARUM are supervised by a team of experienced scientists to ensure best possible guidance for their dissertation project.
In addition, they can benefit from a large network of fellow doctoral researchers from all over the world and from a range of disciplines.
The Bremen International Graduate School for Marine Sciences, GLOMAR, hosts doctoral researchers from MARUM and its cooperating institutions who aim to obtain a doctorate at a university in Bremen.
Doctoral researchers at MARUM are fully integrated into the academic community. Representatives are part of the governance structure of MARUM and are involved in advancing the graduate school programme. Initiatives for events organised by the doctoral researcher community, such as seminars, workshops, annual retreats and similar, are highly appreciated and supported.
