Wissenschaftliches Interesse
Mein wissenschaftliches Interesse gilt der Erfassung der sediment-mechanischen Stabilität von untermeerischen und -seeischen Hängen und Rutschungsprozessen auf unterschiedlichen Zeitskalen (z.B spontane Rutschungsereignisse, Kriechprozesse)
Die Studien zur Hangstabilität sind multi-methodisch und umfassen folgene Bereiche:
- Probennahme mit verschiedenenen Kerngeräten
- geotechnische in situ Messung von stabilitäts-kontrollierenden Kenngrößen (Festigkeit und Porendruck) mit einer CPTu-Lanze
- in situ Langzeitmessungen von Porendruck mit Piezometer-Lanzen
- geotechnische Charkterisierung der Sedimentproben und Bestimmung der Scherfestigkeit der Sedimente
